This is the first real post on my new site, which means its mostly about the site itself. That felt worth doing honestly rather than skipping straight to something more polished.
The goal here is simple - I want to figure out how the best products and product companies are actually made. Ive never built one (yet), so this isn't advice. It's me learning in public and writing down what I find.
The plan is short, specific posts about product engineering. Short because I actually want to publish them. Specific because "10 lessons about building products" posts are useless and the internet has enough of them.
Which brings me to the one rule I'm giving myself: a low bar for publishing beats a high bar for perfect. The perfect post never gets written. The rough one does, and it teaches me something on the way out. So the bar here is "is this a real thought" not "is this finished".
These are my thoughts and my ideas and they will almost certainly be wrong at times - so take everything here with a large heap of salt. Thats kind of the point though. The wrong ones are how I find the right ones.
